His work focuses on contemporary organic forms influenced by Japanese craft and the American studio glass movement. A finalist in the 21014 NICHE awards for excellence in American craft, this unique and beautiful bowl is first blown and then droplets of glass are individually lamp-worked onto the edge. Jim's creations make fabulous gifts and are sure to become treasured collectibles. Each bowl is individually crafted by Jim in his Philadelphia studio, so variations should be expected and add to the collectible nature of the work.

Artisan blown glass from the Philadelphia studio of Jim Loewer

Bowl is first blown, then droplets of glass are individually lamp-worked onto the rim

Finalist in the 2014 NICHE Awards for excellence in American craft

Due to handcrafting, variations and minor imperfections should be expected

Approximately 6 x 5 inches (DxH); made in the USA

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0749/3573/0406/files/jim-loewer-blue-splash-blown-glass-bowl_1.jpg?v=1792571120
