Tequila Los 3 Potrillos is the Fernández family's tequila, launched in 2020 to mark the 80th birthday of Vicente Fernández, the ranchera singer known across Mexico as Chente. It takes its name from Rancho Los 3 Potrillos, the 500-hectare ranch he established in 1980 at kilometer 20 of the Guadalajara-Chapala highway in Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, Jalisco, and named for his three sons, Vicente Jr., Alejandro, and Gerardo. The ranch still welcomes visitors free of charge, with stables of around 400 registered horses, a charreada arena, a guitar-shaped pool, a restaurant with live music, and displays of his awards and mementos, and the tequila is poured there for tastings in both its unaged and aged versions. The tequila is made from blue agave grown in Jalisco at a distillery in the Los Altos highlands, and the Blanco is the unaged expression of the line, the clearest look at that highland agave.
