Japanese Metal Tea Caddy Wrapped in Blue Washi Paper with Ume Plum Blossom
Cream-coloured plum blossoms cover the surface of this tea caddy against a deep blue background, with red and yellow stamens adding small touches of colour. The design is printed on traditional Japanese washi paper, whose fine texture gives the caddy a soft, matt appearance. Beneath the paper is a sturdy metal tin, with a clear plastic inner lid helping to protect up to 200 g of loose tea from the air. Simply keep the washi paper away from water to preserve its finish.
